If you are in-state, which you are, you will have a pretty big advantage. A friend of mine had a great GPA and got a few acceptances including NYU, Buffalo, Rutgers, UPenn dental school, but she was waitlisted at Stony Brook University.

My advice is to just do amazing on the DAT and GPA. Why?

The great DAT scores will most likely get you an interview 1st, then your GPA is taken into account.
