Western Kentucky University

The Western Kentucky University (WKU), founded in 1906, is a public university in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Western Kentucky University is one of the best Dental Hygiene Schools in Kentucky. WKU offers an Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene, a Bachelor in Science degree in Dental Hygiene, and a Bachelor in Science with Emphasis in Clinical Teaching.

WKU Dental Hygiene Program was established in August 1970. The Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science Degree Programs at Western Kentucky University are two-year core-curriculum that begin in the fall semester only. The class size of the WKU Dental Hygiene Program is limited to 28 students.

Application to WKU Dental Hygiene programs is due no later than December 1. Applicants must have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and a grade of “C” or better in each prerequisite course.

To graduate from Western Kentucky University Dental Hygiene programs,  students must maintain an average of “C” or better in each Dental Hygiene course.

Bluegrass Community and Technical College

Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC), founded in 2005, is a public community college in Lexington, Kentucky. The Dental Hygiene Clinic located on the Bluegrass Community and Technical College Cooper campus opened in 1977.  BCTC offers an Associate in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the Cooper Campus. It’s one of the excellent Dental Hygiene programs in Kentucky.
